       TEACHERS DAY!!!

 Teacher is a person who helps students to acquire knowledge, competence or virtue. They interact with their community to affect positive change through their students and themselves. Their job does not end with the school day. Although standing in front of the classroom is a huge part of a teacher’s responsibilities, they extend far beyond that into the lives of their students, their students’ families and their community.

          Every year,we celebrate the teachers day to thank our teachers for all their sacrifices for us their students. We celebrate this every month of October. The theme of these years teachers month celebration is "gurong pilipino:handa sa makabagong pagbabago". In this celebration we give our teachers their time to relax and have fun. To enjoy their time so that they can have a freedom to their lessons and other teachers job. 

        Teachers are our friends,parents and mentors. They are there whenever we need care,whenever we need a advice and whenever we need love. the influence of a teacher can never be erased.

INTRAMURAL

              All of us have different likes or hobbies that needs to be enhance and show to others. Intramurals has created to allow students to develop psychomotor skills and fine-tune motor skills with coordination, movement, strength, dexterity, grace, and speed, and also find healthy outlets for energy. It also promote camaraderie and rapport among students, instructors, parents, and administration. In other words, sports build strong bonds within the community. Sports shows us how to win, how to accept defeat, how to interact with other people and how to mold them to have desirable character traits that are vital in achieving success in the future.

                last September 13, ISNHS celebrated the school intramurals. This said activity started with simple parade and followed with an opening program at the gymnasium and the intramural are now officially open. At first day, there are a lot of players who have participated different sports and we the non athletes attended different booths like the love in rinth that the math club organized. In the second day nothing was changes, same activities, same booth and same persons. in the afternoon is the closing program. All the students of ISNHS was filled of joy and excitement through different activities.

  

              Playing a sport requires a lot of time and energy. Some people may think this would distract student-athletes from schoolwork.However, the opposite is true. Sports require memorization, repetition and learning  skill sets that are directly relevant to class work. Also, the determination and goal-setting skills a sport requires can be transferred to the classroom. Sports do not build character. They reveal it.

SCIENCE MONTH CELEBRATION

       Science is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.The word 'science' is derived from the Latin word 'scientia' which means knowledge. Therefore, science is about gaining knowledge either through observing, studying, experience, or practice. Entire knowledge acquired through science is about discovering truths, finding facts, uncovering phenomenon hidden by the nature. Observations and experimentation, in science, support in describing truth and realities through systematic processes and procedures.

          In this year, we celebrate Science Month with a theme "Metabolize: Nourishing the Filipino Youth Towards National Well-Being". Celebrating this activity helps the student to be more creative and widen their imagination through creation. Different activities that every students can participate and have some fun. A key objective of this celebration is to inspire young people to take up studies and careers in the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It is about showing young people what is possible through science and the exciting careers and opportunities that these disciplines can present to them. 

             Through science we do all we do not do when we are. We can achieve what we are aiming to do. have fun and enjoy every moment of this celebration.

We youths are the future of our country. We are the life saver that you can rely in the near future. In order to achieve this the region department of education implemented The happy school movement last may 20, 2019 in order to promote every schools in region one to be the best and enjoyable place to study.

"Paaralang masayang maglingkod, tagumpay ng bata'y itaguyod" is the theme of the happy schools movement of region 1 that held in the Vigan convention center. Through this programs, the student have given a time to have some fun not just learning. This movement aims to infuse to the mind of the students that school is not just a place for learning it is also a place for fun and enjoyment.The HSM has 15 advocacy themes in the delivery of education services to the 14 schools divisions in the Ilocos region.Some of these advocacy themes are: “Start Right, Grow Smart” (Kidergarten); “Our Roots, Our Strength” (Mother Tongue); “Talas Filipino: Umusbong sa Wika at Panitikan” (Filipino); “Reading is Power” (English); “Solve for Life” (Mathematics); “Sa ALS Matututo Ka, Tara Na!” (Alternative Learning System); “Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility” (Disaster Risk Reduction and Management); “The Joy of Exploration and Innovation” (Science); “Kwento Mo, Kwento Ko sa Matatag na Bansa Tutungo” (Araling Panlipunan); “Ako, Ikaw, Siya Tungo sa Makabuluhang Buhay” (Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao); “Pride is the Power of Hands” (Technology and Livelihood Education); “I am In” (Inclusive Education); “HOPE CA” (MAPEH); “ICARE” (Learning Resource Management and Development (LRMD); and “Paghubog sa Kabataan, Tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan!” (Youth Formation).

The happy schools movement is a program for the student for them to have fun for them to relieve their stress. Happiness and school quality are inseparable as the happy schools framework serves as reference for measuring the quality of our education.

     Every month, Vigan City  celebrated different festivals like longganisa and binatbatan festival. This festivals aim different activities that the residence of Vigan City can be part of it and this month is the month month were world heritage cities solidarity cultural festival will be celebrated.

     Every September, Vigan City celebrates the World Heritage Cities Solidarity Cultural Festival. This festival aims to strengthen the pride in the city's history and culture,promote friendship and diversity between countries and serves as a great venue for forging ties and understanding through community's involvement in the city;s various activities that highlights love for culture, arts and entertainment. The festival is rooted in Vigan City being part ofthe organization of World Heritage Cities, an organization founded on September 8, 1993 in Fez,Marocco, to unite cities included in the United National Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World heritage list. In this festival there are different activities like street dancing, sarsuela and many more.

   Unity is strength were there is teamwork and colaboration, wonderful things can be achieved. Vigan city is preserving our culture so we must take care of it.
